Alaska Airlines Launching New San Diego Service
Jet Nonstop from Boise Airport
Alaska Airlines announced today that the airline will begin new daily service between San Diego and Boise, Idaho, starting November 1st, 2013.
“Boise residents will benefit from easy access to two, sun-filled destinations with the airline’s new San Diego service. In addition to San Diego itself, the daily flights are also timed for easy connections on Alaska Airlines’ flights to Los Cabos, Mexico,” said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of marketing.
“As a geographically isolated community, Boise depends on air service for business as well as vacation travel,” said David H. Bieter, Mayor of Boise. “Alaska Airlines’ new direct flight to San Diego is going to make sun lovers and skiers very happy, but it also opens up wonderful new possibilities for economic development.”
