The Boise announcement is part of Delta’s larger strategy to grow its presence at Los Angeles Airport. "Los Angeles is a key market for Delta as we continue growing our presence on the U.S. West Coast." According to Delta, this new service will provide customers one-stop service to Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, and Sidney through Delta’s international gateway in Los Angeles.
“We are pleased Delta sees opportunity for growth in the Boise region and that they have chosen to dedicate their valuable resources to our market. The new Delta flight will provide Boise passengers with an additional choice when traveling to southern California as well as valuable connection options for international travel.” noted Airport Director Rebecca Hupp.
This flight to LAX aboard Delta Air Lines follows other recent announcements of increased air service to the Boise region including, seasonal daily Southwest service to Chicago Midway and daily Alaska service to Salt Lake City, boosting the Treasure Valley’s available air service seat numbers during the busy summer months.
