There is no doubt that the only constant is change. That certainly rings true in our industry. Regional capabilities, assets and incentives are always evolving. So too are the opportunities. Which is why I’m reaching out to you today.
A longtime member of the Boise Valley Economic Partnership – Jana Jones – has moved on to a new opportunity. The silver lining for all of us is that she is still working in economic development in Idaho. This month she joined one of our regional partners – the University of Idaho – as their Executive Director of Economic Development. As we continue to collaborate with our community’s higher education and training organizations for our workforce, it is reassuring to know this nationally recognized professional is still at the table. And we at the Boise Valley Economic Partnership remain focused on addressing the important talent pipeline needs of today’s businesses.
I’m proud to also share with you that our new Director of Economic Development is a professional with deep experience in talent recruitment and workforce development – the crucial currency of today’s economic development world. Charity Nelson joined the Boise Valley Economic Partnership last year as a Project Manager after a decade at Micron Technology focused on recruiting, organizational effectiveness and global talent acquisition strategy. Since then she has worked on a breadth of projects across our Valley – supporting existing businesses in their growth and providing site selectors and companies vetting our region with the crucial data and context they seek.
We look forward to your next call or email, and providing you with the level of custom and confidential services you’ve come to expect. Our commitment to responding to your needs and inquiries in a timely and comprehensive fashion is unwavering. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Charity or me, our contact information is below.
