Boise, IDAHO – The Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), regional economic development organization for the Boise Metro, is excited to announce the new board leadership for 2017. Todd Cooper, Wells Fargo Bank, will lead the organization as the 2017 chairman of the board of directors. Cece Gassner, Boise State University, will be the incoming chair-elect for 2018. Having worked closely with BVEP for the past several years, Cooper and Gassner will continue to drive momentum for the organization.
The Boise Valley Economic Partnership brings the people and community assets together to help attract, retain and grow business and talent in the Boise Metro region. The board is responsible for overseeing BVEP’s ongoing mission as well as establishing policies and direction that work toward achieving the objectives and goals of the partnership.

Todd Cooper is a 27-year veteran of Wells Fargo and serves as Senior Vice President and Idaho Region Business Banking manager. He is responsible for the Business Banking team serving Idaho Region businesses and also currently chairs the Recruiting and Hiring committee of the national Business Banking Diversity and Inclusion council.
Cece Gassner is the Director of Economic Development for Boise State University. Prior to working at Boise State, she served as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Boise for nearly six years, and practiced law for almost 13 years, focusing on intellectual property and privacy issues. She has been recognized as an honoree of the Accomplished under 40 Award and the Idaho Women of the Year Award.
With a large focus on talent attraction in 2017, BVEP looks forward to leaning on Cooper and Gassner’s experience in business and talent development.
