Alaska Airlines to Begin Nonstop Reno Service
Boise Airport Adds New Nonstop Destination
Boise, Idaho - Alaska Airlines announced today that they will begin service from Boise to Reno beginning this November. With the addition of Reno, the Boise Airport now has nonstop service to 19 destinations across the nation.
"Boise Airport continues to develop important connections that deepen our ties to cities all across the West and the country," said Boise Mayor David H. Bieter. "Reno is another great regional flight that is certain to please our residents whether they are flying to see family, conduct business or have a good time on vacation."
The daily flight will be operated by Alaska's sister carrier Horizon Air, using a 76-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

"Nonstop air service to Reno is something our travelers have been craving for several years; we're excited that Alaska Airlines will be providing that direct link," said Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp. "Whether visiting for business or leisure I'm sure Treasure Valley residents will enjoy all Reno and Lake Tahoe have to offer."
This is the second new route Alaska Airlines has announced this year for Boise. Along with Reno, Alaska will also begin service to Spokane in August. Alaska now offers nonstop service from Boise to Lewiston, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle, Spokane and Reno.
Alaska will be offering introductory low fares for a limited time. Tickets can be purchased online at www.alaskaair.com.
