Our second stakeholder lunch was a success! We are very thankful to our partners at the Boise Centre for providing an incredible venue with a delicious lunch. We started off the event by introducing our newest stakeholders, CSHQA, PMF Investments, Delta Dental, Holland & Hart, and the Perigee Group. We are very excited to have all of you joining the BVEP community!
Following this, Beth Ineck provided some BVEP updates, detailing some of our teams’ current projects. Beth highlighted the 2025 projects including 3 site visits, 10 new projects and a project win with the Tractor Supply Company. Beth also shared information about the economic conditions of the Boise Economy, including statistics about the manufacturing sector, overall growth rate, in-migration profiling and educational attainment.
Garrett Lofto, Simplot CEO took the stage next and shared with the audience his professional journey, took us for a journey into Simplot’s global operations and provided insights on the current tariff challenges. Clark then joined him on the stage for a question-and-answer session. They discussed Simplot’s journey from its origins to becoming a global powerhouse, and how involved the Simplot family is within the community. Garrett and Clark also discussed Simplot’s business strategies in the evolving global economic landscape, and their approach to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
