Top-Notch Childcare
Micron recently shared their intention to build a top-notch childcare facility close to their Micron Boise campus. The facility will be managed by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA.
Domestic Supply
The Boise expansion will be the first memory manufacturing fab built in the United States in 20 years. It will ensure domestic supply for years to come.
2030
Memory market revenue is expected to double by 2030. Demand will be fueled by adoption of artificial intelligence and 5G in data centers, automotive, mobile segments, and more.
$150 Billion
Micron will invest $150 billion over the next decade to increase its manufacturing and R&D capacity. This should meet the rising demand for memory.
K-12 STEM
Micron will expand investment for K-12 STEM education programs and increase focus on reaching underrepresented and rural student populations.
