Earlier this month, Inc. 5000 released the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America.
25 Idaho-founded companies made the list, with the highest ranked one landing at spot 250. Fromley, a boutique real estate company with the mission of creating special places for humans to prosper, was the company landing at spot 250.
Out of those 25 companies, 18 companies were founded in the Boise Metro area. One company, RescueStat – a Meridian founded company, made the list this year. RescueStat is a healthcare technology pioneer focused on saving lives and protecting organizations from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
“We are honored to be included on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies,” said Carl Dixon, RescueStat CEO. “This achievement is a testament to the trust and loyalty of our partners and customers, who share our commitment to protecting their organizations and people from Sudden Cardiac Arrest. We are deeply grateful for their continued support. This recognition also reflects the hard work and dedication of our incredible ‘RescueStatters,’ each of whom embodies our core values and mission to Save Lives and Protect Organizations from Critical-Life Events.”
The Idaho specific companies on the list had an average growth of 131% and added 670 new jobs. The entire 5000 companies on the overall 2024 list have created over 874,940 jobs.
Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 through 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2023. (Since the period under review, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2020 is $100,000; the minimum for 2023 is $2 million. Growth rates used to determine rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
